A beautiful and substantial vintage monograph on Fritz Scholder, published by Rizzoli in New York in 1982.
Scholder was one of the most important Native American artists of the 20th century, known for his bold color, expressive figures, and unconventional approach to Native American imagery and identity.
This edition is especially interesting for collectors because it includes an original lithograph, Dream C, 1982, specially executed and bound into the book. The lithograph was printed by Ediciones Polígrafa in Barcelona in a limited edition of 5,000 and is signed in the stone.
