1962 Gauguin, Watercolors and Pastels- First edition/ Collectible
-ThIs very special and beautiful book on Paul Gauguin’s watercolors and pastel has 40 pages including text that details Gauguin’s history of painting and 24 matted color plates, with facing text on tissue guards, and a cut-out cover framing a portrait. This book is part of a series that Abrams did with individual matting for the prints in the book and with a front cover that is cut out so as to frame the first print in the book. All 24 plates are present and in very good condition. All tissue guards are intact also. Signs of wears on both plastic jacket and hardcover. Please find detailed condition on photos and video.
